If it’s ill, it can reduce the motion declining it to the extent of an inactive way of life. New Practice and Appointment Information 🗓️
Dr. Sanden is transitioning his practice. Effective December 6, 2025, he will be working with Dr. Carl Shin, Center for Indisciplinary Spine (CIS).
- Location of Services: Dr. Sanden will be providing services only at 1411 Secret Ravine Parkway, Roseville, CA 95661.
- Schedule: Services will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Advanced NeuroSpinal Care (ANSC) Title Transfer
Dr. Sanden is currently investigating a transfer of the Advanced NeuroSpinal Care (ANSC) title to a non-profit organization.
Dr. Carl Shin
Dr. Shin received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University in 1995. He also completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Shin’s Fellowship in Interventional Spine was completed at the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Curtis Slipman, where he was published in several prominent journals, including the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
In July of 2000, he obtained his Certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and established his private practice shortly thereafter in Interventional Spine, Electromyography, and Pain Management. He is the current Chief Medical Officer of the Center for Interdisciplinary Spine, a managed care firm that provides workers’ compensation utilization review services to self-insured employers.
